I was wanting to read some morbid horror and this hit the spot for me. There was moments of disgust moments or horror and moments that I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep reading . But it was only due to the discomfort . I enjoyed this read a ton and can not wait to read the second.

If you are more soft natured this book will probably be hard to finish. It gets very graphic and and has disturbing content. Absolutely recommend for people who like those kind of books. Details are great and its pretty easy to read and understand whats going on. I also was able to imagine what was going on from the details given, so it made it more thrilling. Had me on my toes for everything that would happen.

Compared to everything, I felt like the ending was just way too flat and quick. It could have been drawn out in detail so much more for added visceral. This defiantly didn’t live up to the tiktok hype, but was still enjoyable as splatterpunk.
